About the race
The race.
The Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club hosts the 29th annual Hilltopper Half on July 26, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. in Millbrook, NY. The 13.1-mile course follows country roads through Washington with an elevation gain of 787 feet. Packet pickup begins at 6:30 a.m., and a 5-hour time limit applies. Registration costs $30 for non-members and $25 for members, capped at 50 participants with no race-day registration. Awards go to first, second, and third place finishers in male, female, and non-binary categories, with finisher medals for those who register by a specified deadline. Water stations are available every few miles. Net proceeds benefit the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research. Parking is available at Trevor Zoo on the Millbrook School campus.
