The race.
The EDT XC Showdown takes place on October 11, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado, and features four race options: 2K, 3K, 4K, and Community/Coaches 3K. All races start and finish at the same location. The 2K course is run entirely on grass, while the 3K and 4K courses combine grass and hard-packed gravel with brief asphalt crossings. This USATF-sanctioned event welcomes team runners, individuals, and first-time cross country participants in combined gender categories separated by age group.
