Elaina Donahue's Rett Run & Walk takes place October 3, 2026, at Checotah Sports Complex in Checotah, Oklahoma. Participants can choose a 5K or 1-mile fun run, with both events starting at 9:00 a.m. and registration opening at 7:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the family of 3-year-old Elaina Donahue, who was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare genetic condition affecting brain development. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each five-year age group category. T-shirts are guaranteed for those registered by September 22. Registration fees are tiered: $25 for the 5K and $20 for the fun run through July, increasing to $30 and $25 respectively through September 22, then $35 and $25 from September 23 onward.
