About the race
The race.
The Electric Boat Athletic Club Fall Challenge takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Ocean Beach Park in New London, Connecticut. Participants can choose between a 4.75-mile classic course or a 5-kilometer route, with both starting at 10:00 AM. The first 100 finishers receive t-shirts available for pickup on race day. Post-race chowder is served to participants. Age categories span from youth under 13 through super senior 80 and older. Pre-registration costs $32.80 through race week, with race week and day-of registration at $38.10 and $40 respectively. EBAC members, active and retired military personnel, and New London Police Officers are eligible for discount codes.
