About the race
The race.
The Eltuck Valley 5K on August 4, 2026, is part of Gnar Runners' Lory Summer Trail Series in Fort Collins, Colorado. The 5K starts at 6:00 p.m. from Lory State Park's Eltuck Picnic Area with 250 feet of elevation gain on a flat and fast course. Registration costs $25 per race through June 30 or $30 thereafter; participants ages 17 and under pay $10 per race. All finishers receive a vintage Gnar race shirt of their choice, and pizza and beverages are provided after the race. Series points are awarded based on chip times, with top finishers earning unique awards at the series conclusion. Bibs are available for pickup at race start, and day parking passes are available at the park entrance.
