Esplanade 5K Run & Walk 2026

The race.

The Esplanade Association hosts a 5K run and walk on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Charles River Esplanade's Fiedler Field in Boston. The run begins at 9:00 a.m. with awards following immediately; the walk begins at 11:00 a.m. Registration is $35 for the run (includes chipped timing bib and results) or $30 for the walk (includes non-timed bib), with day-of registration available at $45 if not sold out. All registrants receive a custom 18-ounce reusable eco-friendly cup and a virtual prize bag. The run features age-group awards across male, female, and non-binary categories from 10 & under through 80+. Bib pickup is available October 22–23 at the Esplanade Association office or Marathon Sports, or day-of starting at 8:00 a.m. Pre-event registration closes October 24 at noon.
