About the race
The race.
This 2-mile cross country run/walk takes place at Glacier Creek Middle School in Cross Plains, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 7:45 a.m. The event honors Evan Kratochwill, a former student and member of the Middleton Cross Country team. An awards ceremony will follow at approximately 8:25 a.m. Packet pickup is available Friday evening from 5–6 p.m. at the school, with additional registration and pickup on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. (ending at 7:35 a.m.). Registration is $30. Participants who register by September 24th receive a guaranteed race shirt. Proceeds benefit course maintenance, race logistics, and the Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
