The race.
The EVL Halloween Half Marathon, 5K, and Half Marathon Relay takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Ellicottville, NY. The event features three race options—a 5K, Half Marathon, and Half Marathon Relay—all starting and finishing in the village of Ellicottville on countryside roads of the Southern Tier. Runners are invited to participate in costume and Halloween-themed activities, though costumes are optional. All finishers receive a medal, race t-shirt, race number, snack bag at the finish line, and a safe wave start. Participants may upgrade to a long sleeve lightweight hoodie for an additional $15.
