Explorer Turkey Trot 2026

The race.

The Explorer Turkey Trot takes place Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Hudson, Ohio, benefiting the Hudson Athletic Booster Club and student-athlete programs. Three events are offered: a 5K starting at the Middle School with a downtown route, a one-mile loop, and a kids' fun run on the stadium track. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 7 a.m. at the football stadium registration tent and close at 7:45 a.m.; the 5K and one-mile race start times are 8:15–8:30 a.m., and the kids' fun run begins at 9 a.m. Pre-registration costs $40 and includes a short-sleeve race t-shirt; Hudson City Schools teachers, staff, and students receive a $5 discount. Awards go to top male and female finishers, with post-race snacks served at 9:30–10 a.m.
