Fair on the Square Half Marathon & 5K 2026

The race.

Fair on the Square Half Marathon & 5K takes place September 12, 2026, on the Courthouse Square in Danville, IN. The half marathon starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K starts at 8:15 a.m., both beginning and finishing near 145 S Indiana St. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 11, from 4:00–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 12, from 6:30–8:00 a.m. at the same location. All finishers receive medals (different designs for each distance), and age group and overall award winners receive custom trophies and pint glasses. Water stations are positioned every 2 miles. Finisher amenities include free tech shirts, free finisher photos, free beer for those 21 and older, and frozen treats. The race coincides with the Fair on the Square Fall Festival, featuring food and craft vendors.
