The race.
The Fall Backyard Burn Trail Run at Hemlock Overlook in Clifton, Virginia features two distances: 5.2 miles and 9.5 miles. The course combines hiking trails, dirt roads, and open fields with stream crossings and rocky terrain, traversing portions of the Bull Run Occoquan Trail along the Bull Run. The 425-acre park setting includes designated spectator areas. Proceeds benefit Homestretch, and participants are encouraged to donate during registration.
