About the race
The race.
The Farm Fresh 5K and 1 Mile takes place September 5, 2026, at Gast Family Farms in Saint Joseph, Michigan. The races start at 9:00 a.m., with packet pickup available from 8:30 to 8:55 a.m. in the driveway. Both distances follow a trail route through farm fields. Participants receive a t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations completed by August 15), a homemade medal, grape juice, and snacks; farm tours begin at 10:15 a.m. Registration is $10 per person plus RunSignUp fees, with all proceeds minus the RunSignUp cut donated to the Lakeshore Lions Club, matched dollar-for-dollar by the farm family up to $500.
