Description

Date: Saturday, October 10th, 2026

The Farmland Run is the Traverse City Track Club’s signature cross country event, held on a dedicated course across private farmland. A classic European style turf grass course awaits, offering a natural and challenging experience over grass, wooded dirt trails, and rolling farmland terrain.

5K Run A true cross country style race over grass, dirt trails, and open farmland. This course delivers a mix of rolling terrain and natural footing that keeps things interesting from start to finish.

10K Run New for 2026, the 10K expands the experience with additional distance and new sections of trail that have not been used in previous events. The course runs in the opposite direction of the 5K, offering a fresh perspective and added variety for returning participants.

Both races begin at 12:00pm.

In 2026, we are focusing fully on the run experience and what comes after. With everyone finishing around the same time, it creates a true fall festival feel with more time to relax, connect, and enjoy the farmland setting together.

1 Mile Kids Event Begins at 11:30am, and all kids receive a free small pumpkin to decorate after.
