About the race
The race.
Fostering the Family hosts the 7th Annual Fight for Families 5K on November 7, 2026, at Westminster Park in Rock Hill, SC. The event supports awareness of the local foster and adoption crisis. Interactive stations will be available from 8–9 a.m., with the timed 5K starting at 9 a.m. for all ages, divided by male and female divisions within age categories. Two water stations will be staffed during the race. An awards ceremony begins at 10:15 a.m., awarding prizes to winners in each age category, and finishers receive their times via text from Queen City Timing.
