The race.

Fistful Of Dirt is a gravel bike race taking place Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Cody, Wyoming. Participants can choose from four distances: 20 miles, 47 miles, 67 miles, or 108 miles, each featuring varied terrain including gravel, packed dirt, single track, rocks, and sand. E-bikes are permitted only in the 20-mile distance. Registration is capped at 300 racers. All finishers receive a custom Fistful Of Dirt item, beer and a meal ticket at the finish line, and custom bolo ties are awarded to top finishers in each race. The 67-mile and 108-mile distances feature The Sheriff's Purse, a prize structure awarding $3,500 in cash across three separate divisions for both male and female finishers.
