Flaming Foliage Relay - Idaho Springs to Buena Vista 2026

The Flaming Foliage Relay is a 165-mile team relay race starting in Idaho Springs and finishing in Buena Vista on September 11–12, 2026. Teams consist of twelve runners with two vehicles, six runners with one vehicle (Ultra format), or other configurations including solo runners. The course covers roads and trails across three mountain passes. Team captains register first and set team names; teammates then join with no additional registration cost. Each team supplies volunteers for runner exchanges or makes a tax-deductible donation to Windsor Gives, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, with volunteer fees ranging from $100 to $300 depending on team size.
