The race.
Flight to the Finish 5K takes place August 15, 2026, at Zion Park District (2400 Dowie Memorial Drive) in Zion, Illinois. The 5K race starts at 8:30 a.m. on a flat course. A kids 100-meter dash for children under 10 follows at 9:30 a.m., with ribbons awarded to the top three finishers. Race awards are given by age group and to first-time 5K participants. Finishers receive a festival t-shirt, and door prizes are distributed. A Bubble Bash Celebration concludes the event.
