Flying Colors 5K Fun Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Flying Colors 5K Fun Run/Walk takes place August 1, 2026, at Loudy Simpson Park in Craig, Colorado, as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival. Participants can choose between a 5K or one-mile fun run course along the Yampa River trails. Registration and packet pickup run from 6:00–7:00 AM, with the event starting at 7:00 AM. Entry fees are free for ages 0–4, $10 for ages 5–17, and $30 for ages 18 and up. Souvenir t-shirts are available for purchase at registration. The event is untimed and does not permit dogs.
