About the race
The race.
The Fort Branch Sinister Cellar Zombie 5K Run/Walk takes place October 31, 2026, in Fort Branch, Indiana at Community Park, 599 E. John Street. The 5K starts at 9:00 am; a separate Lil Zombie Kids Fun Run begins at 8:30 am with shorter distances. Pre-registrants by October 10 receive a guaranteed t-shirt and haunted house pass; shirts are not guaranteed after that deadline. Age group awards are offered for both 5K participants (male/female in seven divisions from ages 0–60+) and kids (three divisions from ages 1–9, with each kid receiving a medal). Packet pickup is available October 30 from 5–7 pm or on race day at the park. Food and beverage trucks will be on-site.
