The race.
The Fort Myers Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Thanksgiving Day in Fort Myers, Florida, featuring a 5K run/walk course that starts on McGregor Boulevard and finishes at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. Registration is $40 for adults and $20–$25 for youth, with a separate $10 Tot Trot option for children 6 and under (100-yard dash). Online registration closes November 25, 2026, with a November 1 deadline to guarantee shirt size selection. Finishers in the first 4,000 registrations receive unisex t-shirts. Packet pickup is available before race day. Fort Myers Track Club members receive a 20% registration discount.
