Fostering Hope 5K 2026

The race.

The Fostering Hope 5K takes place on August 29, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at White Hall Park in Richmond, Kentucky. The 5K run/walk follows a scenic paved loop course through the park. Proceeds benefit Orphan Care Alliance, which provides life coaching, family support, and family preservation services to youth and families in the foster and adoptive community across Kentucky and southern Indiana. Participants who register by August 22 receive commemorative t-shirts in unisex and youth sizes. Awards include medals for top three overall finishers by gender and top two finishers by gender in age groups ranging from 10 and under through 80+. The event also features a kids' quarter-mile dash, a kids' quarter-mile toy ride race, food, music, and free race photos.
