The race.
The Franksgiving Day 5K takes place in Canton, Ohio on November 14, 2026. The event features a 5K race along with the Mount Beanie Weenie Sprint and Red Hot Tot Trot for children 12 and under. All finishers receive hot dogs, chips, and beverages (beer, pop, or water), plus a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top 5 male and female finishers overall and to top 3 finishers in each age group from 1–14 through 85+. Team competition awards the lowest combined average time across all team members. Wiener dog races are also part of the event.
