Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K 2026

The race.

The 10th Annual Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Troy, Michigan. The USATF-certified 5K starts and finishes at Troy Community Center (3179 Livernois Rd.) at 8:30 a.m., running through Big Beaver Road and Civic Center Campus. The 1K fun run begins at 9:30 a.m. in three staggered time slots five minutes apart, each limited to 50 participants. All finishers receive a medal and t-shirt (sizes not guaranteed); age-appropriate results are provided. Packet pickup is available Friday, October 23 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.) and Saturday, October 24 (8 a.m.–12 p.m.) at the Troy Community Center front desk, with race-day pickup from 7–8 a.m. Costumes are encouraged for all ages.
