Frightful 5K & Monster Mile 2026

The race.

The Frightful 5K & Monster Mile, hosted by the Siembida & Boggs Philanthropic Foundation, takes place October 25, 2026, at East Palestine City Park (31 Park Avenue, East Palestine, Ohio 44413). The 5K begins at 9:00 a.m., with a Monster Mile starting at 8:30 a.m. Packet pickup and race day registration open at 7:30 a.m. at the Community Building within the park. Finishers receive commemorative medals and monster shirts; the first 200 registered participants receive custom bibs. The 5K awards top three overall finishers by gender and top three finishers by gender in age groups spanning 14 & Under through 70 & Up. Costume participants compete for prizes, with the top three selected. Proceeds benefit the Brick Pavilion rehabilitation project within the park.
