About the race
The race.
The Frontrunners Lexington Pride Run 5K takes place September 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Coldstream Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The 3.1-mile chip-timed course runs on park trails and welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers. Finishers in top three positions within each of multiple age groups and gender categories (Male, Female, Non-Binary) receive commemorative medals. Participants who register by September 1 receive either a Pride Run T-shirt or water bottle, available at packet pickup on Friday, September 18, or race morning. Race day includes a DJ, drag entertainment, refreshments, and vendor tables. Event proceeds benefit LGBTQ+ students and programming in local K-12 public schools.
