Full Moon 5K 2026

The race.

The Full Moon 5K Run/Walk takes place in Charles City, Iowa on Friday, April 24, 2026, starting at 8 p.m. at Tellurian Brewing, which serves as both the start and finish location. The event offers a 5K distance for runners and walkers of all levels, as well as a Kids Fun Dash for children 8 years and younger. Early bird registration costs $30 per person through April 12; afterward, including race day registration, the fee is $35. Registration includes chip timing, a t-shirt (guaranteed for early registrants), and refreshments at the finish. Packet pickup runs Thursday, April 23 from 5:30–7:30 p.m., with race day pickup and sign-up available Friday from 5:30–7:15 p.m. The Charles City Community Fund hosts the event, which welcomes individuals and teams of four or more, with a virtual race option also available.
