About the race
The race.
The Garavel SoNo Half Marathon and 5K takes place October 4, 2026, in Norwalk, Connecticut, starting at Veterans Park. The half marathon begins at 8:30 AM, followed immediately by the 5K race start. A kids fun run also takes place at 11:30 AM. All race participants receive a performance shirt, multifunctional headwear, finisher's medal, and free race photos. Post-race food and beverages include pizza, ice cream, beer for those 21 and older, and items from Stew Leonard's. Race insurance is available as an optional add-on.
