The race.
The Gardiner Dump Run takes place on September 27, 2026, in Gardiner, NY. Runners can choose a 5K distance or run two laps for a 10K. Both races use single-track trails at Riverbend Trails. Race packet pickup occurs from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., with a mandatory runners meeting at 10:00 a.m. The 10K starts at 10:20 a.m. and the 5K follows. Day-of registration is available; bring cash or check. The event includes an athletic sneaker recycling program offering coupons for donated sneakers. Volunteers assist with parking.
