The race.
The Gator Gauntlet Off-road Triathlon takes place August 29, 2026, at Sam Houston Jones State Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This event combines trail running, mountain biking, and kayaking across the park's terrain and the Calcasieu West Fork River. Two race distances are available: a 13-mile course and a 7-mile course. Race proceeds benefit trail maintenance and improvements at Sam Houston Jones State Park.
