GDTC Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 2026

The race.

The Greater Derry Track organizes a 5K road race on November 26, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at Galliens Town Beach on Beaver Lake in Derry, NH. The certified 3.1-mile course loops clockwise around residential roads near Beaver Lake. Registration costs $25 for adults (13+) and $10 for children (12 and under); day-of registration is $30 and $15 respectively. Participants who register by November 1st receive a long-sleeve race shirt with a four-color logo design. Packet pickup is available November 22 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Derry Sports and Rehab, and November 25 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Galliens Beach. Awards go to the top three finishers in male and female categories. Post-race beverages including water and Gatorade are provided. All race participants are requested to donate a non-perishable food item to support local food pantries.
