Gibbet Hill Cattle Run 2026

The race.

The Gibbet Hill Cattle Run takes place on August 5, 2026, in Groton, MA. The main event is an 8.4-mile three-person relay in which each team member completes two 1.4-mile legs. Additional races include a single-loop course for children ages 12 and under, and Little Lambs Mini Runs for ages 6–8 and ages 5 and under (starting at 5:15 p.m.). All race registrations and fundraising proceeds benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank, For the Love of Erika, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and New Entry Sustain. Finishers receive a t-shirt and BBQ entry. Post-race amenities include barbecue, seasonal and classic Narragansett beer, and live music.
