Gobble Waddle 5K/10K 2026

The race.

The 18th Annual Gobble Waddle 5K/10K takes place November 21, 2026, in Smithfield, NC. Participants can register for a 5K or 10K run/walk, or choose virtual 5K and 10K options. Race day registration and packet pickup run from 8:00–8:30 a.m., with both distances starting at 9:00 a.m. Early packet pickup is available Friday, November 20, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at HealthQuest Fitness & Wellness Center. Entry includes a t-shirt, medal, snacks, water, and timing services; finisher prizes are provided for youth under 17. Awards are given to top male and female finishers in nine age categories (6–13 through 80–99) for each distance, plus overall winners and team categories. Registration fees are $35–$40 for the 5K and $45–$50 for the 10K, depending on registration date. Participants are encouraged to bring canned food donations supporting local food banks and SECU Hospice House. Dogs on fixed leashes and strollers are welcome.
