The race.
The Grand Rapids Zombie Dash 5K takes place on October 24, 2026, in downtown Grand Rapids, with the 5K starting at 6:45 p.m. The course features zombie characters positioned along the route who attempt to take flags from runners. Packet pickup runs from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., and zombie check-in begins at 6:00 p.m. at Monroe Skate Park (555 Monroe Ave. NW). Awards are given for overall and age group placements, announced at 7:45 p.m. A Kids Treat or Treat Mile is also offered, starting at 6:00 p.m.
