Gravel Unravel - WhyNotChee 2026

The race.

Gravel Unravel's Why-Not-Chee race takes place July 18, 2026, in Hoquiam, WA, featuring a 23-mile loop course with approximately 2,000 feet of cumulative elevation gain. Participants can complete one, two, or three loops, with registration limited to 400 riders. The event starts and finishes at Satsop Center and includes RFID timing, on-course snacks, medical support, mechanical support, and post-race food and beverages. Racing categories span Open, Masters (45+), Super Masters (60+), Non-Binary, Women's divisions, Juniors (under 18), and Singlespeed, with top-three finishers in each distance receiving awards. Non-competitive Gran Fondo-style riding is available for short and medium distances, including a separate e-bike category. Registration costs $75 for adults and $35 for juniors, with onsite camping available at Satsop Center.
