About the race
The race.
The Great Springs Trail Race takes place on September 26, 2026, at Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio, Texas, organized by Tejas Trails. Participants can register for distances of 1, 4, 8, or 16 miles, with an 8-mile ruck option also available. The race starts within Natural Bridge Caverns and continues through trail terrain featuring hills and wooded sections. All finishers receive race swag; shirts are guaranteed for those who register by September 1. Race proceeds support the Great Springs Project and the Edwards Aquifer conservation efforts.
