Greenbrier SwimFest 2026

The race.

Greenbrier SwimFest, held September 27, 2026 at Greenbrier State Park in Boonsboro, MD, features three open-water swimming distances: 800 meters, 1600 meters, and 2400 meters. Organized by French Creek Racing, the event offers discounted entry for participants racing multiple distances (30% off a second race, 45% off a third). Check-in runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on race day. Online registration closes September 25 at midnight. Wetsuits are permitted in water temperatures below 78 degrees; expected water temperature is 62–70 degrees Fahrenheit. No refunds are issued; in case of inclement weather, entries roll into the following year's event or may be deferred to another French Creek Racing event with at least 14 days' notice prior to race day and a nominal fee.
