About the race
The race.
The GRIND Mountain Bike Festival takes place August 15, 2026, in Biwabik, Minnesota, hosted by Giants Ridge. Three race distances are offered: 35 miles, 18 miles, and 5 miles, with a separate kids race category. Packet pickup runs from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. at the main chalet. The 35-mile race starts at 9:00 a.m., the 18-mile race at 9:10 a.m., and the 5-mile race at 1:00 p.m. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. The event includes a vendor village, live music, and access to gravity mountain bike trails.
