Grit and Guts Trail Race 2026

The race.

The Grit and Guts Trail Race takes place September 12, 2026, in Dardanelle, Arkansas, on the trails of Mount Nebo. Runners can choose four distances: 13.1 miles, 20 miles, 26.2 miles, or 50K. The race starts and finishes at Sunset Point parking lot and features aid stations positioned every 4–6 miles along the course. Participants receive optional commemorative unisex-fit shirts from Rock City Outfitters for $15 plus tax, ordered in advance and distributed the week of the race. Entry is free; all proceeds benefit local cross country teams and the Friends of Nebo organization. Parking is available at two lots at Sunset Point and temporary overflow parking across the road.
