About the race
The race.
The Grizzly Gold 5K & 1K takes place on September 26, 2026, in El Dorado, Kansas. Participants can choose between a 5K or 1K distance on an all-terrain course that runs through El Dorado streets, the El Dorado Disc Golf Course, and finishes at BG Product Stadium. All participants receive a t-shirt and medal, with complimentary refreshments provided at the finish. Proceeds from the race benefit Butler Track & Field student athletes.
