GWTC Pine Run 20K at Tall Timbers 2026

The race.

The GWTC Pine Run 20K takes place at Tall Timbers Research Station in northern Leon County near Tallahassee on October 10, 2026. The 20K race starts and finishes near the Beadel House on a trail course marked with pink flags through piney uplands and Lake Iamonia bottomland, with water and Gatorade stations at approximately miles 3, 6, 9, and 11. A 14K rucking option is also available on a modified course with a 3-hour cutoff for both distances. Both races begin at 7:30 a.m. with race day registration from 6:45–7:15 a.m. Registration is online only; GWTC members pay $35 with shirt or $25 without, while non-members pay $40 with shirt or $30 without. Awards are given for top overall finishers, age group winners in 5-year increments, and masters categories in the 20K, plus top two finishers in the 14K ruck. Packet pickup is available Thursday 5–7 p.m. at REI Co-op in Tallahassee, or on race morning before 7:15 a.m.
