The race.

The Halloween Trick or Trot Run takes place October 31, 2026, in Fort Worth, TX, with three distance options: 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with coordinators available for three hours after the first wave. Finishers receive a technical running t-shirt (shipped to their registered US address), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional—runners may self-track via fitness apps or request coordinator assistance. Registration waves fill on a first-come, first-served basis and may sell out quickly; a virtual run option is available if in-person waves are full. Participants who log additional miles after the race contribute $1 per mile to partner charities through an optional fundraising component.
