The race.

The Halloween Trick or Trot Run takes place on October 31, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, offering 5K and 10K distances. Participants may choose from four wave start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, with late arrivals accommodated for three hours after the first wave. A virtual run option is also available. All finishers receive a race bib on race day, a technical t-shirt shipped to their registered address, a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, a digital training pack, and a certificate of completion. Runners may optionally track their time through personal fitness apps or with coordinator assistance. Registration closes when individual waves fill, though a waitlist and virtual option remain available. For every mile logged after the race, the organizer donates one dollar to partner charities.
