Hardin Valley Hawk Trot 5K 2026

The race.

The Hardin Valley Hawk Trot 5K takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. The 5K race begins at 8:00 a.m. from Hardin Valley Academy, follows campus roads connecting the high school, middle school, and elementary school, and finishes on the high school track. A separate one-mile race for children under 10 starts at 7:30 a.m., capped at 100 participants. Packet pickup opens at 6:30 a.m. on race morning at the football/track complex. All one-mile finishers receive medals and participation gifts. The 5K awards top 3 finishers by gender overall, top 3 per gender in 10-year age increments, and top male and female masters runners (age 40+). Water stations are positioned at the course halfway point, and restrooms are available near the start/finish area. T-shirt orders close four days before the race.
