About the race
The race.
The 11th Annual Harvest 5K takes place Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the 1-mile fun run starting at 10 a.m. and the 5K at 11 a.m. The 3.1-mile course runs mostly on packed and paved paths through the Rose Garden, with water stations at each mile. Participants can enter the 5K run/walk, the 1-mile fun run, or both; dogs on leashes of six feet or less are welcome in the 5K. Free on-site parking is available. All proceeds benefit Central Elementary School in Allentown, supporting gym equipment and uniforms for students. Virtual participation is an option for those unable to attend in person.
