The Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2026 in Apex, NC on October 18, 2026, is a five-week running program for children Pre-K through high school. Age-appropriate distances include 50-yard and 75-yard dashes for preschoolers, a quarter-mile for kindergarten and first grade, a half-mile for second and third grade, one-mile runs for grades 4–8, and a two-mile race for high school participants. A Challenger Division offers a 75-yard adaptive race for children with disabilities and special needs. Series registration includes race bibs each week, a runner shirt, finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways; all participants receive a medal in week five, with trophies awarded to overall top finishers by division and gender. Single-day registration is available onsite one hour before each race. A makeup date is scheduled for November 22, 2026.
