About the race
The race.
The Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2026 event in Arlington, VA on September 20, 2026 features five weeks of age-appropriate running races for children. Fourth and fifth graders compete in a 1-mile run, while sixth to eighth graders also run 1 mile. Series registration includes race bibs, a runner shirt, a finisher medal, and sponsor giveaways across all five weeks. An adaptive Challenger Division with a 75-yard race accommodates children with disabilities and allows support persons on the course. Single-day registration is available onsite one hour before each race. Trophies are awarded to top finishers by division and gender, with all participants receiving medals in week five.
