About the race
The race.
The Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2026 event in Rockville Centre, NY takes place on September 13, 2026. This five-week running program offers races for children in multiple age groups: 4th and 5th graders run 1 mile, 6th to 8th graders run 1 mile, and high school participants run 2 miles. Series registration includes race bibs for all five weeks, a runner shirt, and a finisher medal awarded in week 5. An adaptive Challenger Division with a 75-yard race is available for children with disabilities and special needs. A makeup date is scheduled for October 25, 2026. Single-day registration opens one hour before each race and covers one race only.
