The race.
Heat It To Beat It, held September 27, 2026, in Baltimore, MD, is a patient-led fundraising event benefiting research into heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) treatment for peritoneal carcinomatosis. Since 2009, the event has raised over $3 million to support research directed by Dr. Armando Sardi at The Institute for Cancer Care at Mercy. Proceeds support advancing awareness and research of HIPEC treatment options for eligible patients.
