Heroes and Villains Half Marathon- Dallas 2026

The race.

The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon takes place September 12, 2026, at Sam Houston Trail Park in Irving, TX. Participants can choose from five distances: a kids dash, 1-mile fun run, 5K (3.11 miles), quarter marathon (6.55 miles), or half marathon (13.1 miles). All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The event features chip timing for the 5K and longer distances, age group awards with pins for top three finishers in each of 14 age categories, and Bigfoot Trophies for overall winners. Packet pickup runs from 5:30 to 6:40 AM, with a costume contest at 6:50 AM offering a $25 gift card, free future race entry, and prize pack to winners. Post-race activities include a DJ, awards ceremony, and refreshments at the Race Rally Tent.
