About the race
The race.
The Heroes and Villains Half Marathon takes place September 12, 2026, at The Rim Shopping Center in San Antonio, TX. Five distances are offered: a Kids Dash (20 yards), 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K (3.11 miles), Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles), and Half Marathon (13.1 miles). All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The event features a costume contest at 6:50 AM with prizes including a $25 gift card, free future race entry, and a Bigfoot Prize Pack. Packet pickup runs from 5:30 to 6:40 AM. Post-race activities include an awards ceremony, live DJ, refreshments at the Race Rally Tent, and age group awards across multiple categories from 10 & under to 70+.
